1: Are all of your courses online?
A: YES! We only offer online courses now, because they are easier and quicker for you and you can access the course area 24/7.
2: How soon will I get access to the course/program I have purchased?
A: Usually within a few hours (excluding weekends and Bank Holidays). Please bear with us during busy times.
3: Q: Payment Methods?
A: Payment can be taken by PayPal or Stripe (secure on-line payment systems).
4: Q: Can You Provide Insurance?
A: We no longer offer insurance because 99% of the time the instructor sources and obtains their own. Usually they can get this from their existing provider or go elsewhere if not and send a copy of their certificate once passed the Fox Fitness course. Please note the program licence and insurance are not the same and both are required to teach.
4a: Q: Can you provide Insurance in non-UK countries?
A: NO! The insurance policies and cover that we can provide extend to the UK only. This is due to strict guidelines and regulations from the Financial Services Authority (FSA) that we have to adhere to. Please check your country’s insurance policies and conform to their guidelines. Find a reputable Insurance Broker and check all their policies particularly relating to program before registering and paying.
5: Q: What is the qualification process for home study courses?
A: Assessment Process. We access you through our Remote Assessment System and consists of 2 components:
1) Practical (Video):
You are required to teach one other person or a small group the assessment routine that is provided with the course. We assess you based on a certain criteria (you’ll receive a copy of the assessment form with your program so you know what we’re looking for), such as safety, good execution and overall ability to demonstrate your understanding and knowledge of the program. The benefits to you mean you don’t have to spend time or money away from your schedule to attend any assessment day, etc. We want to make it as easy and straightforward for you to become certificated.
Write out a session plan, specific to the course you are doing (this will fully explained). This must be in your own words of how you would personally plan, including coaching and safety points based on teaching a 1 hour class once a week covering such things as your teaching notes, adaptations and anything else to demonstrate your knowledge and understanding of the program.
Everything is covered in the program including filming guidelines and what we’re looking for. You can submit your filmed assessment on digital video and load it up to Filemail.com or on YouTube (set to unlisted and NOT Private, if preferred?). Your written assessment can be emailed in a word.doc or PDF. Please note: we NO LONGER accept assessments by post (mail), even though it might still say we do in some of our old information.
6: Q: How Are the Programmes Advanced?
A: Many of our programmes are multi level (we also provide updated content (where applicable) on the awesome registered instructor support area after you have been granted certification and licence to teach our programs) . We do not pressure or make it compulsory that you purchase additional levels its entirely up to you and your needs. Also for your convenience advanced Levels are also available on online as home study courses, which includes Videos, manual and audio support. Additional levels are subject to instructor demand.
7: Q: Is the course recognised by fitness associations?
A: YES! Fox Fitness has been delivering training since 1994 and have trained over 7,790 instructors worldwide. Ian Fox has appeared at all the main conventions, in virtually all the instructor and national fitness and Martial Arts magazines and on TV many times. 8: Q: Am I free to do my own thing once I’ve passed the course?
Yes (within a reasonable level of course and subject to our terms of business and user license), once you pass the course you are free to do your own thing. Apart from sell the content to other people, or create instructor training courses.

10: Q What are the benefits of being licenced?

Plus, when you are a Fox Fitness program licence holder we have a commitment to helping you succeed at all levels; Personally, Professionally and of course Financially. We offer you an amazing level of support and help in making your business a success in this competitive market.
11: Q: Is there a time limit to complete the online course?
A: You can take as long as you need and what works for your time and schedule. Study at your convenience for best results. But we do have a policy in regard to getting certificated, please see question 16 below.
12: Q: What are your terms of business?
13: Q: Do you supply music with the courses?
A: No. We can sometimes recommend the best choices for the courses that predominantly use music or you can play your own (subject to PPL if applicable).
14: Q: If I buy multiple courses, can I access them all at once?
A: What you’ll need to do is login and logout to each course as a separate thing. You wouldn’t be working on two courses at the same time would you… so, login to each course separately using the original access links your were sent when you first signed up to the course.
Still having a problem with access?

- Try using a different browser for each course.
- Make sure you refresh the page/browser.
- Close browser down and reopen after logging out.
15: Q: Are you REPs registered?
A: No! We were once, but found that it only really applies or makes any difference to instructors who work in Gyms, not freelancers, like the majority of our customers. As long as you are a qualified instructor, follow the structure/system and have insurance, you’re good to go! You don’t need anything else!
16: Q: Instructor Certification and course completion timeline Policy?
A: When you purchase a course from Fox Training we normally require that you complete it (that means sending back your assessment – everything is fully explained inside the course training area) within 3 months of purchase. Or if there are exceptional circumstances (such as you get injured or ill etc then you can request an extension in writing (by email via our contact form) before the 3 month period has lapsed (extension period is ONLY to a maximum of 6 months, meaning another 3 months, not 3 months then another 6 months). IF you do not get assessed (certificated) within the defined period stated (and have not notified us), then you will automatically lose access to your access to the course and have to pay a reactivation to fee to get reinstated. We operate this policy to allow for optimal immersion and success for our customers.
It’s very important to maintain momentum when learning a new program and have some firm and clear goals in mind for what you want to achieve with the course.
17: Q: Can I get an updated replacement certificate if my original is lost or damaged?
A: Yes, we can do that but there is a small fee to pay. Please get in touch via our contact form and we will let you know how much it is. If a large number of years have passed since you took the original assessment it may be a requirement that we see an updated video assessment from you which will have an additional cost.
